How it all began

Many consider Guglielmo Marconi, an Italian inventor, a very  important link in the chain of the development of radio. Not to be forgotten are DeForest, Armstrong,  and Tesla, to mention a few others. Along the way, hams have seemed to taken a definite liking to the works of Marconi and his ideas of wireless transmission. A search of the topic can give a wealth of information.
